166,000 meals donated to Atlanta Community Food Bank in December.

Thanks for helping to EXCEED our goal!

Our December 2020 goal was to donate 50,000 meals to the Atlanta Community Food Bank through collecting donations and also donating 2 meals for every meal sold. Thanks to you, we were able to greatly exceed that goal, and donate $20,813, which is the equivalent to providing 166,000 meals to hungry children, hardworking families and struggling seniors. Thank you for your support and helping the food bank meet the urgent need for food during this continued crisis.

Hunger is on the rise in Atlanta.

The coronavirus pandemic and the resulting economic upheaval had a near catastrophic impact on the nutritional safety of our community. After COVID-19 hit, the Atlanta Community Food Bank saw a nearly 300% increase in requests for food assistance. The number of food insecure people in ACFB’s 29-county service area jumped from 658,000 people to 863,000 as a result of COVID-19, an increase of 31%.

Toy Drive for Foster Kids

We’re joining Engel & Volkers Atlanta in the Mark Carroll and Friends 17th annual Toy Drive. We’ve been challenged to collect 100 toys by December 20th!

Please consider donating new, unwrapped toys as holiday gifts for children in the Georgia Foster Care Program. Look for the collection bins at Doc Chey’s, Dragon Bowl or Osteria 832. Thanks in advance for helping us spread good karma during the 2020 holiday season!
